OBSERVED — Two Peoria police motorcycles at the corner of North Sheridan and West Main, one of the tearing off after a motorist who turned from west-bound Main north of Sheridan.
OBSERVED — Two Peoria police motorcycles at the corner of North Sheridan and West Main, one of the tearing off after a motorist who turned from west-bound Main north of Sheridan.
Observed — No road construction in front of Avantis near Sterling Avenue. Also, very few people inside Avanti’s eating lunch. Food and service was above par.
OBSERVED: What looked like an abandoned police vehicle in the parking lot between the Lariat Club and ACME Books. Is it some sort of decoy to convince drivers to slow down as they turn from Sterling onto West Glen?
Observed: Absolutely NO road construction workers during the drive into work today.

Observed: Red truck, no plates, mud flaps indicating it’s owned by a business in IOWA, hauling what looks like material from a home demolition on Illinois Route 8 without anything keeping items fromn falling out into the path of the cars stuck behind it,without any police vehicles in sight.
Observed: Peoria County Sheriff’s Department patrolcar, parked at the corner of Mark’s Market parking lot, with driver lookigndown at passing traffic on Farmington Roard, at about 8:30 a.m. this morning.
Observed: Yesterday, a police car stopped in the right-hand driving line alongside a car stopped in the shoulder on U.S. Route 150 just north of the mall, with traffic behind him having to merge to the lane on the left, causing backups at the nearby intersection.
Observed: A yard sign reading “Start SEEING Motorcycles.”
