Watch out for the state police
So, I’m driving up North Street and I approach a state police car. He flips on his siren and makes a U turn to follow me. Then he turns off his lights and slows down. I have no idea.

I saw some decoy owls placed in the trees in front ot the Janssen Law Center on Main Street in Peoria. I counted about three per tree in four trees. Apparently, he’s trying to scare away the other birds. These were the fake-est-looking decoys. What a hoot!

I was turning left onto West Main from northbound Sheridan. In my rear view mirror I see, not 1 or 2, but 3 taxis follow me into the intersection. All from different companies. Odd.
Oh, look. Loucks and West McClure have an intersection:
OBSERVED: On the way to Whitey’s after Tuesday’s Peoria City Council meeting, what had to be at least five police cars, most with lights on, along West McClure right at the turn off onto West Loucks.
Peoria Police officer running two consecutive stop signs in the Rolling Acres area. No emergency lights…..just passing through.
OBSERVED: While walking into Krogers on Sheridan, a 150 Bus, P42 I believe was the number, sits idling right next to the entrance. 15 minutes later I walk out and the bus is still sitting there idling.
Observed: Fast, friendly and professional service at the Walgreens Pharmacy on North University across from Wal-Mart.
Here is something I observed the other day. Jim Ardis trying to cut in line at Verizon Wireless in EP. Not allowed to do so, he threw a 2 year old tantrum in front of 10+ people waiting, he stormed out saying he is just way too busy to wait that long. He lost my vote. Jerk.

McClure and Loucks do not cross nor meet. In fact McClure and Sheridan is almost 3 blocks from Loucks and Sheridan. Whitey’s being at Sheridan and Virginia.
